The Blend
In winemaking, a blend is greater than its parts. Cab Sauv needs Merlot. Structure needs softness. The magic happens in the mixing.
Uncorked works the same way. A harvest event bleeds into a filmmaker's meltdown bleeds into a visiting sommelier bleeds into a cellar worker's side quest. Nothing exists in isolation. The glue between moments is the whole point.
Some episodes center on actual winery happenings. Bottling day, a critic's visit, equipment failures that become legends. Others follow the film fellows as they document everything and slowly lose their minds. Sometimes a guest wanders through and changes everything (thanks, Nance!). It's less a show and more a living thing.
